Skilled. Pat Snyder’s passion, depth of knowledge and marketing expertise have been adding value to companies for three decades.

Before opening What They Think Research, Pat spent 20 years in the marketing communications field. Working with national and international companies and brands, such as McDonald’s, Philip Morris and Celanese, as well as with boutique agencies. She advised clients on brand equity, product marketing, media relations, crisis communications and other marketing communications strategies.

Inquisitive. Parlaying her natural curious nature, critical thinking skills, business acumen and creative streak, Pat opened What They Think Research in 1997. She has had the pleasure of advising a wide variety of noted brands in diverse industries including Starbucks, Chattem (Gold Bond), KCI, Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Caremark/CVS.

Pat holds a BA degree in journalism, advertising and public relations from the University of Kentucky. She has completed courses at the Burke Institute for Qualitative Research and has been a guest speaker on marketing research at Vanderbilt University School of Law and Belmont University.

In her spare time, Pat is an avid abstract painter. Her work is shown in a Nashville gallery and has been displayed in other local exhibits. She also enjoys cooking, entertaining and traveling with her husband.
